Kim talks about how she's learning during COVID-19 where things are being optimized, identified, and revealed as embraceable moments. She conveys that being selfish doesn't have to mean being thoughtless to someone or something. She continues by stating it can mean having a healthy revelation of something. Kim shares an exercise with us, as she asks for us to pretend that we live amongst other people. During this discussion, she gives a verbal demonstration for us to visualize and think about our interactions for each and every person we come in contact with (including children). This exercise prompts us to be conscious of how we think, believe, and behave while we see, think, feel, and believe in our real-time moments, as we encounter each and every person. Kim speaks further to make us aware that as we pause and reflect to collect our data from each experience, our honesty about each experience will reveal our answers for who we are; giving us the space to determine what our next mental, emotional, and spiritual moves will be. She also inserts questions to us like, if we accept people for who they already are? Are we invested in sowing seeds in people's lives? and figuring out, if we need to distance ourselves and love some people from afar? Kim tells us that we're positioned to aspire, and we can tap into this regularly vs. allowing for this to be a one off. On the other hand, she also informs us that if we're un-phased about all of this, that's totally our prerogative. Kim draws to a close with revisiting her first prompting to us where she asked for us to PRETEND that we coexist with other people. She then asks, "Yet are we really pretending?". Kim shares her personal experiences where she gets to work with multi-cultural families, and she's reminded of the inquiries already addressed with us. For her, it also leads to her being totally aware that she must accept, respect, acknowledge, and learn from each and every time she shares space (verbal or in-person) with the families. She closes the topic with making us aware that her experiences are NOT for PRETEND. Kim has made us aware in a previous episode that she is rebranding (behind the scenes), and she has chosen to utilize her DIY skills. She unapologetically tells us that she has chosen not to hire a professional branding entity because she's believing in herself to allow for her DIY skills to eventually evolve into something great. Kim also adds that, if she finds it necessary to hire a professional for her branding, she will do that if/when the time comes. Kim admits that she's believing in herself to make this happen. She closes her episodes with asking for us to show love by subscribing, following, and giving feedback on whatever platform you're listening from, so she knows how she's doing with us.
